Melt Cosmetics Radioactive Stack

With my midterm out of the way I can now do a couple more posts before my next period of stress!

So recently I purchased +Melt Cosmetics new Radioactive eyeshadow and pressed pigment stack because...well because why not! It's a gorgeous grouping of neon colours and they come in such a unique package. They are also awesome quality! I found that they were easy to blend and the colour payoff was great, though I think if you have an eyeshadow primer with more of a white base the colours would show up even better (I use +Urban Decay Cosmetics eyeshadow primer potion - anti aging cause no one likes wrinkles at 22 ;)).

Since I live in Canada I had a $10 shipping rate and also the exchange rate from US to CAD and lets be honest that sucks, but I really wanted to try this palette and since I had no similar colours of eyeshadow it was worth it for me. In total I paid 84.99 CAD for this product, a bit steep I know, so if you want to save some of your CAD dollars I would suggest grabbing the Electric Pressed Pigment palette from Urban Decay (not exactly the same but Thrasher is a good dupe for Xenon) which can be purchased at +Sephora.

Here is what the package looks like when you open it up, unfortunately the adorable box it comes in that has pictures of lips (I think they are Dana Bomar's and Lora Arellano's lips if I'm not mistaken) was a bit banged up so I didn't include it in the photo.

From left (pink) to right (orange) the colours are Radioactive, Xenon, Neon, and Radon. The actual box has an almost holographic look the the writing that didn't show up in this picture.

Note: Radioactive and Radon have ingredients not safe for use around the eyes so do take that into consideration if you have sensitive skin and/or have had reactions to makeup before. I did put them around my eyes but I was very careful and though they stained the skin a bit, I had no averse reaction to them. Their warning isn't to put you off buying this product, it is just for liabilities and if you are okay with using them on your eyes then that is a risk you will have to take.

If you don't follow me on Instagram (@molecularmakeup) I have done a look using this stack which I will put below. I actually went grocery shopping with this makeup on, I would normally never leave the house with makeup so bright but I worked hard on it and I'm trying to go out of my comfort zone.

Photos were taken using my new Nikon Coolpix L840 camera (love it!!)

Aaaaannnddddd one more because who doesn't like animal photobombs :)
